NomadVisa started with a simple frustration: visa information for remote workers is scattered, contradictory and often out of date. Government websites are written for immigration lawyers, forum threads are full of guesses, and the rules change constantly. We built NomadVisa to be the resource we wished existed when we first started working from abroad.
What we do
We research and maintain plain-English guides to digital nomad visas, long-stay visas and residency options across more than 180 countries. Every guide covers the same essentials: who qualifies, how much you need to earn, what documents are required, how long it takes, and what it actually costs. We update guides as rules change and date-stamp every page so you know how current the information is.
How we stay independent
NomadVisa is reader-supported. Some of our pages contain affiliate links to services we recommend — things like travel insurance, multi-currency bank accounts and VPNs. If you sign up through one of those links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This is how we fund the research that keeps our guides free. We only ever recommend products we have used ourselves or researched thoroughly, and our editorial recommendations are never influenced by commercial relationships. You can read more on our affiliate disclosure page.
An important note
We are not immigration lawyers, tax advisers or government officials, and nothing on this site is legal advice. Visa rules change frequently and often depend on your specific nationality and circumstances. Always confirm the latest requirements with the official embassy, consulate or immigration authority of the country you are travelling to before making any decisions or bookings.
