NomadVisa is a free resource, and we keep it free in part through affiliate partnerships. This page explains exactly what that means, in line with guidance from advertising regulators such as the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a special tracking link to a partner's product or service. If you click one of our affiliate links and then sign up or make a purchase, the partner may pay us a small commission. This comes out of the partner's margin — it never costs you anything extra, and in some cases our links include a discount for you.
Which links are affiliate links?
We work with partners in categories that genuinely matter to nomads, including travel and health insurance, multi-currency banking, VPNs, eSIM providers and visa application services. Where a link is an affiliate link, we mark recommendation sections clearly and include a short disclosure near the link.
Does this affect our recommendations?
No. Our editorial process is independent of our commercial relationships. We recommend products based on research and real-world use, not on commission rates. If a product is the best option in its category, we'll say so whether or not we earn from it — and if a popular product has drawbacks, we'll tell you about those too.
Advertising
In addition to affiliate links, we display ads through Google AdSense. These ads are clearly distinguishable from our editorial content. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are handled.
